If it is also who was driving and how, the dual-facing camera adds the cab view and a driver management system, and takes up to two auxiliary cameras ($119 each). Same wiring choices, same platform; the dual-facing service is $2 more a month.
Direct wire runs a three-wire power cable to the vehicle: any vehicle, any installer. OBD plugs into the port under the dash and reads basic vehicle diagnostics. J1939 is for the heavy trucks and reads advanced vehicle diagnostics. Same camera, same service; the cable and the diagnostics change, and the J1939 bundles are $40 more. A 256 GB card ($44) is optional on any of them.
The store charges the camera only. The monthly service is a separate line item, stated on each card, in the cart, and again at checkout, before you pay: $35.98 a month per camera on the road-facing bundles, $37.98 a month per camera on the road- and driver-facing bundles, billed on the 1st of each month.
