Is there really no monthly fee?

On these four trackers, yes: the service is included with the device for the stated term, with no annual fees during it. Shipping, tax, installation and accessories are extra and shown at checkout.

What happens after the term?

The lender tracker renews for another five years for $25. Rental renewal is offered per unit at the end of the included term, and Nick quotes the current terms when you get there. Most dealers rotate a unit to the next car long before the term ends.

Why do the fleet trackers have a monthly service?

They’re a different kind of tracking: every minute, every turn, driver reports, and a monthly service that pays for it. They’re on the fleet, construction and camera pages, with the service stated on each card.

Is there a warranty?

Yes: a three-year device warranty.
