Does Turo allow GPS trackers?

Yes. Turo's vehicle tracking and technology policy permits GPS trackers on listed cars, and listings tell guests a car may have one. Read the policy for the current rules before you install.

Can I use an AirTag instead?

Not on Turo: it no longer allows AirTags on listed cars. An AirTag also reports through nearby phones rather than its own cellular connection, so it can go quiet exactly when a car is somewhere remote.

Can I use starter interrupt on a Turo car?

The add-on stops a car from restarting at its next ignition, never while it's being driven. Whether and when you may use it during a trip is set by Turo's policy and your state's law, and we don't give legal advice. Check both before you rely on it.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. The tracker is $119 with five years of service included and no annual fees during the term. Shipping, tax, installation and add-ons like starter interrupt are extra and shown at checkout.

Who installs it?

Any installer who has wired a tracker can do it. In Southern California, Install Leaders, our sister company, installs it for you.
