GPS trackers · Containers and storage

GPS tracking for containers. It sits. It still answers.

A container has no power and no one watching it. A battery tracker needs neither: mount it, and it checks in on its own for years, then switches to a recovery mode when something goes missing.

  • No wiring, no charging
  • Up to 3 or 5+ years on one battery
  • IP67 · U.S., Canada and Mexico

Before you buy

The questions container owners actually ask.

Straight answers. Where the honest answer is "ask a GPS Veteran," it says so.

3-year or 5+ year?

The 3-year unit is ultra-compact and reports two locations a day, with 5-minute reporting while it moves as an option. The 5+ year unit carries a 9,000 mAh battery, reports four locations a day, and adds remote device management. Battery life on both depends on configuration and on how often the unit reports; time in recovery mode shortens it.

What happens when the battery runs out?

These are long-life, disposable battery-powered GPS trackers. The internal battery is not rechargeable or replaceable. Once the battery reaches the end of its service life, the device should be properly disposed of or recycled, and a new tracking device will need to be purchased.

How is the monthly service billed?

The store charges the device only. The monthly service is a separate line item, stated on each card, in the cart, and again at checkout, before you pay.

Is there a warranty?

The warranty covers a defective device. The units are disposable, so a unit whose battery is spent — including one left in recovery mode until it dies — is replaced rather than claimed.

Bring the container count. A GPS Veteran brings the plan.

Twenty minutes, no pressure. How many, where they sit, and how often they move.
