GPS tracking for trailers. No wiring. The sun does the charging.

A trailer has no power to tap and spends the week on the road. Mount a solar tracker and it keeps itself charged; park the trailer for the season and a battery unit checks in for years.

  • Solar or battery · no trailer power needed
  • 1-minute tracking while it moves
  • Door open and close monitoring, optional

What it does for a trailer

The trailer can’t call you. The tracker does.

Moved when it shouldn’t The solar trackers are motion activated: the trailer moves, the tracker wakes and reports every minute while it rolls.
Arrival and departure Jobsite and customer-location arrival and departure, with the times on the record.
Doors, on the I/O tracker With the I/O harness and the door switch, the extended solar tracker reports each time the trailer doors open or close.
A recovery mode for the one that sits The battery unit checks in four times a day and switches to a location every 5 minutes when a trailer goes missing.

Before you buy

The questions trailer owners actually ask.

Straight answers. Where the honest answer is "ask a GPS Veteran," it says so.

Solar or battery?

Solar if the trailer moves every week: the sun keeps it charged and it tracks every minute while moving. Battery if the trailer sits unattended for long stretches: no wiring, no charging, and years on one battery.

What if the trailer sits in the shade?

The solar tracker runs up to 4 months on its backup battery without sunlight, at 12 reports a day.

What happens when a battery tracker’s battery runs out?

The battery-powered units are long-life and disposable: the internal battery is not rechargeable or replaceable. At the end of its service life the unit is recycled and a new one is purchased. That is what keeps the device price low, with no wiring, charging or battery swaps along the way.

How is the monthly service billed?

The store charges the device only. The monthly service is a separate line item, stated on each card, in the cart, and again at checkout, before you pay.

Bring the trailer count. A GPS Veteran brings the plan.

Twenty minutes, no pressure. Which trailers move, which ones sit, and which one went missing last year.
